Happy 67th Birthday to Jane Curtin! One of the original “Not Ready for Prime Time Players” on Saturday Night Live (1975-1980), Curtin was the straight woman foil to some of the wilder cast members like John Belushi and Gilda Radner. She anchored the “Weekend Update” segment solo from 1976-77, then was paired with Dan Aykroyd (1977-78) and Bill Murray (1978-80). Curtin later starred in the sitcoms Kate & Allie (1984-1989) and 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996-2001).
