Happy Birthday to June Allyson! Born Eleonor Geisman on this date in 1917, Allyson made her Broadway debut at the age of 21. She went on to become the sweetheart of the 1940s with her girl-next-door good looks and bright smile. Allyson is best known for such films as Best Foot Forward, Words and Music, Till the Clouds Roll By, Little Women, The Stratton Story, The Glenn Miller Story, and My Man Godfrey.
