We were talking yesterday about the amazing car museums in the Mid-Atlantic Region, specifically Eastern Pennsylvania. We mentioned the AACA Museum in Hershey and eluded to other wonderful destinations, including the American Treasure Tour, of course. One other site you should definitely include on your classic car itinerary is: The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles, http://boyertownmuseum.org
Their collection of rare and one-of-a-kind turn-of-the-twentieth-century vehicles is truly amazing, and definitely worth a stop when you're in the area! Another destination located near Philadelphia's airport is called the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum, http://www.simeonemuseum.org/the-collection
The Simeone takes a completely different approach to their cars, mainly because they actually drive theirs for you. During event days, they will rev the engines and get them moving on a track connected to their museum. Most of their cars were designed to be raced, and it's a thrill to see them going.
