Happy 73rd Birthday to Paul Simon! At the age of 11, Simon met a fellow musically-minded child named Art Garfunkel and they have been intrinsically linked ever since. Garfunkel had the beautiful singing voice, which Simon reportedly envied, but Simon was the genius behind the songwriting, which Garfunkel reportedly envied. Between his solo work and that with Simon and Garfunkel, Simon has been awarded 12 Grammys and has made tremendous contributions to the world of music. Here’s a small sampling:
